The serene glass office/lounge area on the second floor provided a peaceful spot to catch up on work, overlooking a beautiful courtyard. The location was perfect, adjacent to great restaurants and shops in SoHo and Nolita, making it convenient for quick meetings and exploring the city in between work commitments. Despite some minor inconveniences like early housekeeping knocks, the overall experience was positive and contributed to a productive stay.

The Penthouse at The Standard - East Village is just wow! The views are insane, I felt like I could reach out and touch the city. It's the perfect spot to unwind and take in the NYC vibes.

The kitchenette could have had a bit more counter space.

Great stay, as always. Its location and rooms were very good that's why I loved the place. The restaurant was great for breakfast, I tried excellent dishes. The bed was exceptionally comfortable and the balcony had exceptional views of rooms with views.

I would kindly ask for more assistance for senior individuals from the children working there to fully enjoy their vacation.

I recently stayed at the East Village Standard for the third time with my parents. The double queen room on the 15th floor had amazing views. Despite an internet outage during check-in, the reception staff were incredibly kind and found a way to get us to our room. The location is great and the staff were friendly and helpful. The comfortable bed and spectacular views were definite highlights. I can't wait to return to my favorite hotel!

Staying in this hotel was a delight for my family and me. The location, in a cool and vibrant neighborhood, allowed us to explore the Soho shopping district and taste delicious dishes at nearby restaurants. The tastefully provocative art around the registration area was definitely a plus. The room was modern, clean and comfy, with a nice bathroom and an amazing view of the city. We also enjoyed the delicious breakfast and the friendly service. The Beer Garden was definitely a highlight.

We could hear some street noise, but it wasn't too intrusive.

The hotel was a fantastic choice for my trip. I loved the location in a bustling neighborhood close to the best subway lines and surrounded by great cafes and restaurants. The cleanliness of the room was top-notch, and I particularly enjoyed the heated patio area for relaxing after a long day of exploring this city. The staff was excellent and accommodating, always going above and beyond to make me feel comfortable during my stay.

I recently stayed at The Standard in East Village for leisure, and I had a fantastic experience. The staff were incredibly welcoming and helpful, attending to all my requests. The rooms were quiet, with amazing views from the 16th floor. The bed was large and comfortable, and there was a good selection of TV stations. I loved the trendy bar in the hotel and the convenience of a fully equipped gym nearby. The location was perfect, surrounded by fantastic restaurants, independent shops, and vibrant neighborhoods like Bowery and Greenwich.

I would recommend this hotel.

During my stay at The Standard East Village, I was delighted by the modern design of the hotel. The room had large windows with a breathtaking view, and the bed and linens were incredibly comfortable. I also appreciated the spaciousness of the room, allowing me to move around freely. The hotel provided a newspaper, and the breakfast area was lovely, offering a nice selection of food and the option to enjoy a mid-day meal. The terrace outside provided a unique experience right on the street.

The hotel is conveniently located close to the financial district and offers easy access to several subways. Guests can also enjoy the proximity to good restaurants and the outside restaurant. The rooms are comfortable and the staff is friendly and helpful. The hotel offers great views of the 4th of July fireworks and has comfortable bedding. Additionally, guests can enjoy the radiant floor heating and the cool design of the hotel.

Some guests reported noise issues due to nearby construction and garbage trucks.

Not being able to access the roof top

The perfect location for sightseeing and shopping. The reception was very professional and everyone took great care to make us feel at home. We had asked for the panoramic view and they satisfied us. Indeed we were on the top floor and it is breathtaking.

The hotel staff's attentiveness and helpfulness stood out during my stay. They went above and beyond to assist with a potential catastrophe when I left my phone behind at the gym. the rooms were clean and met expectations, and the location was excellent. It was also a bonus that guests could use the gym across the street for free with a pass from the front desk.

The design of the room was poor and didn't meet my expectations. the room was small, as expected for a NYC hotel, but lacked sufficient bedside tables and reading lights.

Room a little small, let's say "optimized". But there was enough room for 2 double beds facing the view... The prices are those of New York: disproportionate of course but in line with those of equivalent hotels.
